Crown Jewels of Poetic Laughter
Thru the frames of my rose colored glasses,
I behold the beauty of a world that’s gone awry.
Never will life’s fate settle among the ashes,
and forever shall I behold a rosy sky.
Precocious may appear to be my notion,
whose beauty remains in the eye of a beholder.
Pastel colored clouds hover above a velvet ocean,
betwixt the two I’ll have my youth as I get older.
Wherefore an array of colors have granted me sight,
I see no evil behind framed glasses stocked with roses.
Ever aware of this world's futile struggle for might,
eager to share the beauty hidden atop their noses.
Life is forever fleeting and so it must be well spent,
we should take time to smell a rose as each day passes.
Budding stems permeate the air with their floral scent,
a glory only beheld thru rose colored glasses.
