Crown Jewels of Poetic Laughter

Feel the cold chill that fills the air

as it reaches clear down to your bones,

for Christmas is a special time of year

to spend with family at home.

 

Crystal magic falls from the skies

& all around there’s mountains of snow,

colorful lights reflect from in my eyes

of a tree whose star is aglow.

 

Everyone is filled with laughter

sipping spiced egg nog spiked with love,

and for Christmas parties we all gather

kissing ‘neath the mistletoe above.

 

In their eyes I can see holiday wishes

hopes for the best present under the tree,

together with my family this Christmas

is the best gift I could ever receive!
