I know I truly love you

‘cuz I think of you all thru the day,

and I’d never place anyone above you

for my heart to you I gave.

 

At times my mind begins to wander
pondering the day true love was found,
the day a heart of flesh was conquered
for to you my love is bound.

 

I think of you as I gaze toward heaven
beholding beautiful images of your smile,
I sense the glory of love’s protection
when in your arms for a while.

 

Whenever I should close my eyes
I see your silhouette come into view,
I’m so blessed you’re in my life
