I hope I haven't frightened you

with something I may have said.

If there's anything I've done wrong,

don't let it ruin the chance we had.

The chance for me to know you

'cuz I like what I have seen.

The chance to see your smile

and see the joy your smile would bring.

I'm offering you sincereity,

the plea of a good hearted man.

I've been hurt but I've recovered

and now I live free again.

If you join me I'll keep you happy.

If I can't you're free to leave.

The opportunity to keep you smiling

is all the chance I need.
